THE Objective

TO MAXIMISE THE ROI FROM AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Our client is a multinational provider of Business Process Management solutions headquartered in Germany. With a diverse portfolio of services, there was a real need to cut through the noise and engage audiences at a high-profile industry event.

The Challenge

By their own admission, the senior presenters were time poor and ill-prepared for the event. They were looking for an external partner to provide an honest critique of their presentation messaging and story. This critique would form the basis for the partner to work independently to craft a revised presentation structure and visuals before optimising the team presenting’s delivery skills.

THE EYEFUL SOLUTION

Event presentations are stressful, and the situation only becomes worse when the people presenting are time poor and under-resourced.

To support our client, we provided both the explainer presentation below and presentation. This helped them to demonstrate complicated processes in simple and clear ways to their audience.

Step 1

PRESENTATION OPTIMISATION

Utilise our Presentation Optimisation methodology to ensure maximum impact from the limited time available with the senior presentation team.

Using tools like Audience Heatmapping and Must-Intend-Like, we were able to identify key messages that would resonate with the audience and drive action.

Step 2

APPLIED THE AUDIENCE PATHWAY MODEL

We crafted a high-level storyflow that used our Audience Pathway Model structure. This story audience-centric structure is particularly persuasive, making it a powerful tool at conferences where time and attention spans are limited.

Step 3

GRAPHIC DESIGN

On approval of the storyboard, the design team developed various visual tools to support the presentation. These ranged from high impact PowerPoint slides through to short animations for use in social media before and after the event.

We also developed a PDF document summarising the presentation's key points for use as a ‘Sustain’ tool for the client’s sales team to use as a follow-up to the event.

Step 4

ONE-TO-ONE ONBOARDING

We put the presenters through their paces before the event.

Initial one-to-one coaching sessions were run remotely, followed by an evening group session on-site with all speakers.
